Exploring the grounds of the 3,000-acre Barnsley Resort in Adairsville, Ga. has been one of the highlights of 2018! I came for the Grand Reveal event yesterday showcasing the brand new, breathtaking Inn at Barnsley Resort and Georgian Hall, but I stayed to experience many of the awe-inspiring amenities that the resort has to offer. Outdoors lovers get ready because Barnsley Resort has everything you could think of to get outside and embrace your adventurous side, and probably some things you’ve never thought about doing. I got to experience horseback riding through the estate as well as making my own leather bracelet embossed with my choice of emblems. I fell in love with the animals at the Barnsley Barnyard, and I bet you will too when you come to experience this Georgia jewel where catch and release fishing, golf, lawn games, hiking and biking, kayaking, canoeing, and more are awaiting your arrival.
And when it comes to the tasty cuisine available, anyone who comes to visit will definitely not want to leave without indulging their tastebuds! From regional treats like fresh, local honey from the bees at Barnsley Resort and melt-in-your-mouth homemade Southern biscuits smothered with Raspberries and Muscadine Wine Jam to an outdoor pig pickin’ and Resort Dining Manager Jon Mattson’s Silver Bell Hill Punch made from honeysuckle vodka, fresh strawberries and rosemary, and pink peppercorns, the folks at Barnsley Resort know how to make sure guests have a fabulous time while satisfying every culinary craving you can imagine.
