MIAMI, Fla. – After converting to an Autograph Collection property, the Hotel Colonnade in Coral Gables is welcoming event planners and group coordinators to explore its “versatile space.”
Formerly known as the Westin Colonnade, the hotel underwent an $18-million renovation, upgrading its event venues and guest rooms. A new lobby bar was also added.
The reimagined hotel includes 23,000 square feet of meeting space on one floor and a variety of room styles to choose from.
The Hotel Colonnade was originally built in the 1920s by George Merrick, a real estate developer known as the builder of Coral Gables, one of the first planned communities in the United States.
The hotel’s revamp is part of a neighborhood-wide streetscape project that is remaking much of Coral Gable’s historic Miracle Mile area.
The celebrated four-diamond property won a 2018 Reader’s Choice Award from Condé Nast Traveler. For more information, contact: Leadcatcher@hotelcolonnade.com.
