Memphis Meetings Facility Renamed Renasant Convention Center

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis convention and meetings facility has been renamed the Renasant Convention Center. The City of Memphis and Renasant Bank said the naming rights partnership runs for 10 years, with the bank having the option to extend the naming rights via an additional two, five-year term options.

Nashville’s Convention Center Authority Green-lights Metro Deal

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Convention Center Authority has voted unanimously to enter into a MOU (PILOT Agreement) with Metro.
“Nashville’s unprecedented growth in convention bookings has allowed the MCC to enter into this agreement with the city,” said Charles Starks, president/CEO of Music City Center.

NEW ORLEANS, La. — ERG Enterprises, a New Orleans-based investment company, has announced its partnership in acquiring the Hyatt Regency New Orleans, the largest hotel acquisition in Louisiana history.

Established in 1976, the 32-story Hyatt Regency is the third-largest hotel in New Orleans. Its proximity to the Superdome and Smoothie King Center makes it an attractive destination for events and entertainment.
