DALLAS, Texas – Fairmont Dallas is welcoming industry veteran Michael Beck as the venue’s new director of operations.
Beck will be responsible for overseeing the performance and strategic direction of all operational departments at Fairmont Dallas.
Beck brings more than 20 years of hotel operations and food and beverage leadership experience to his new position. His career began in the northeast United States where he served in multiple management positions at several hotels including Boar’s Head Resort in Charlottesville, Va.
Beck relocated to Texas in 2014 to join Omni Hotels & Resorts and held the position of senior assistant director of food and beverage at Omni Dallas. In 2017, he was promoted to director of operations at Omni Park West in Dallas.
His most recent role was in the same position at Omni Frisco Hotel.

The hotel is in the Dallas Arts District with 545 guest rooms, a rooftop terrace with garden, junior Olympic-sized pool, and 70,000 square feet of meeting space.
