MEMPHIS IS A MUSIC CITY LIKE NO OTHER.
In the Home of Blues, Soul and Rock ‘n’ Roll, live music rocks seven nights a week from Beale Street while legendary music attractions—like the Stax Museum of American Soul Music and Elvis Presley’s Graceland—welcome all. And, Memphis’ musical attractions double as meeting, event and breakout venues.
MEMPHIS’ RENASANT CONVENTION CENTER IS ALL NEW.
The Renasant Convention Center recently debuted its $200M modernization, featuring a 118,000-SF, column-free exhibit hall, natural light and Mississippi River views. A 28,000-SF ballroom, 18,000-SF secondary hall/ballroom, 2,100-seat theater and 46 breakout rooms round out the 300,000-SF facility.
THAT’S NOT ALL THAT’S NEW IN MEMPHIS…
More than 5,000 hotel rooms are in various stages of development through 2026. Memphis International Airport (MEM) debuted a $245M upgrade (with more to come), and Memphis Sports & Events Center is reactivating Liberty Park, a $200M sports and events hub in the heart of the city.
MEMPHIS IS A VALUE FOR GROUPS.
Memphis offers groups a lower cost-per-attendee than other cities on the rise, thanks in part to reasonable airport transfers, average daily rate and food & beverage costs. In fact, USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice ranked the city No. 1 for Best U.S. Destination on a Budget.
MEMPHIS IS EASY TO GET TO (AND AROUND).
Memphis’ central location makes the city a short flight, drive or train ride from almost anywhere in the U.S. MEM services daily nonstop flights; Amtrak provides nonstop service to Memphis from Chicago and New Orleans. In town, delegates will enjoy a compact, walkable downtown.
MEMPHIS IS A ONE-STOP SHOP FOR PLANNERS.
The Memphis Tourism team works with planners every step of the way and manages the Renasant Convention Center. Together, the organizations have received ConventionSouth Media Group’s Readers’ Choice Award for six years running.
Flavor Profile |
![]() Dining in Memphis is an experience for the soul. Our specialty may be barbecue—Memphis is home to more than 100 barbecue restaurants smoking, char-grilling and all manner of low-and-slow-cooking pork, brisket, Cornish hens and more. While dry-rubbed ribs and pulled pork sandwiches piled high with slaw may be our best-known specialties, don’t sleep on Memphis originals like barbecue-studded pizza and saucy barbecue spaghetti. And did you know Memphis is just as famous for its wings? You’ll find as many joints—tossing wings in Memphis’ signature sweet-sticky honey gold sauce—as you will barbecue spots around town. Foodies know there’s more to Memphis than world-renowned barbecue and wings, however. The city famously dishes up soul food—from classics like golden-fried chicken and creamy mac-n-cheese to fusion delights like spicy “soul” egg rolls and peach cobbler “nachos.” Memphis also offers fine dining, including elevated twists on Southern classics, courtesy of James Beard Foundation-nominated chefs; celebrates biscuit- and Bloody Mary-fueled brunch spots; and gives visitors ample opportunities to “drink local” at craft breweries and distilleries. Maybe it’s Southern hospitality, but Memphis has a reputation for feeding its visitors well. Come taste it for yourself. |
