AC Hotel Kansas City Downtown opens in historic Rialto Building

KANSAS CITY, Mo.—A new AC Hotel has opened in Kansas City, Mo., in the historic Rialto Building. Located at 906 Grand Boulevard in downtown Kansas City, AC Hotel Kansas City Downtown is co-owned and developed by Hotel Equities and Beechwood Pinnacle. Additional co-owners include the hotel’s general contractor, VCC, and architect, Campo Architects.

With 239 elegantly appointed guest rooms and suites, AC Hotel Kansas City Downtown blends sophistication and luxury with the rich history of the Rialto Building. The hotel’s design-driven lobby showcases custom artwork, rich textures, and timeless finishes honoring the building’s historic architectural charm while providing a welcoming space for guests.

Visitors can choose from three dining options: a European-style breakfast or tapas at AC Kitchen; Spanish wines and craft cocktails at AC Lounge; or craft coffee at AC Café, which features a signature blend by local roaster The Roasterie.

Located in the heart of Kansas City’s historic Financial District and steps from the iconic Power & Light District and River Market, the hotel is positioned for business travelers and culture seekers alike. AC Hotel Kansas City features six versatile event spaces, offering 3,722 square feet and state-of-the-art technology for corporate meetings, weddings, and social events.

As part of its community engagement efforts, AC Hotel Kansas City Downtown is partnering with Exceptional Humans, an organization dedicated to empowering individuals with diverse abilities. The partnership will involve hosting job-training sessions and creating employment opportunities for people in the local community.
