
KEY WEST, Fla. – A landmark resort built in 1920, Casa Marina, Curio Collection by Hilton will unveil a full property renovation this fall.
“Meeting attendees can expect vibrant guestrooms, an airy lobby lined with windows framing the beach, an additional 5,000-square-foot oceanfront event lawn space, enhanced food and beverage offerings including the closest rooftop bar to the ocean in Key West as an unforgettable reception space, and a full restoration of its piers utilized for watersports,” a company news release states.
Renovations will expand three outdoor patios overlooking the resort grounds, pools, and ocean, while also adding a new 5,000-square-foot oceanfront event lawn to its existing 11,000 square feet of indoor event space.
Additional meeting and events-related highlights from the renovation include:
- An elevated food and beverage experience including a new restaurant, as well a rooftop bar which can accommodate groups of 80.
- Award-winning, onsite events staff who manage each occasion.
- Group activities including sand art, world-class fishing, scuba diving, sailing, eco-tours, and nearby dolphin encounter excursions.
- Nine event spaces that accommodate 10 to 500 people.
- The historic Flagler Ballroom, a 3,100-square-foot space, which has hosted local events for decades.
- The Grand Ballroom, a 2,600-square-foot room accented by original Florida pine wood and arched windows allowing for plenty of natural light.
- The Keys Ballroom, a versatile 5,000-square-foot ballroom that breaks out into five smaller sections.
All 311 guest rooms, which include 63 suites, many with large oceanfront balconies and patios, will be upgraded. According to the news release, the resort’s new design “will deliver an aura of tropical timelessness accentuated by modern touches, colorful island-inspired patterns, natural wood tones, and lush greenery.”
