ARLINGTON, Texas—The Events Industry Council (EIC) has bestowed Paola Bowman, director of client services and events for Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau, with the 2024 Pacesetter Award.
Each year, EIC celebrates and honors the exemplary achievements of professionals from the business events industry through the EIC Global Awards. The EIC Pacesetter Award recognizes emerging leaders with a proven track record of successful leadership whose forward-thinking and innovative approaches have led to groundbreaking changes that are advancing the industry.
As an experienced hospitality and events professional, Bowman has worked in numerous positions, from front of the house to sales and services. She has been involved with the EIC since 2014 and has also served with Event Service Professionals Association (ESPA) and Meeting Professionals Association, both EIC member organizations. In 2023, ConventionSouth selected her as a “Meeting Professional to Watch.”
