Galveston Island offers 32 miles of coastal beaches, more than 5,000 hotel rooms, and AAA Four Diamond resorts, all within a 45-minute drive of Houston Hobby International Airport (HOU).

The Galveston Island Convention Center, located at the 243-room San Luis Resort, features 140,000 square feet of event space. The convention center is within close proximity to approximately 500 additional guest rooms. San Luis Resort offers more than 40,000 square feet of space. The renovated 239-room Hilton Galveston Island Resort has 5,128 square feet of event space, while Holiday Inn Resort on the Beach has meeting and event space to accommodate up to 200 people. The 97-room DoubleTree by Hilton Galveston offers 1,600 square feet of meeting space.
Unique settings include the 418-room Moody Gardens Hotel, Spa & Convention Center, which boasts more than 100,000 square feet of event space. The 119-room Tremont House has 15,000 square feet of event space, and the 224-room Grand Galvez has more than 13,000 square feet of event space.
