SAN ANTONIO—The Grand Hyatt San Antonio River Walk has completed a nearly $9 million renovation, unveiling extensive upgrades to its lobby, restaurants, and public spaces. The project introduces a new dining concept, Moda Fare, as well as an upscale coffee shop, Spoonful Provisions, and the Tejas Lounge, a Texas-inspired bar and gathering space.
Located along San Antonio’s famed River Walk, the hotel’s refreshed lobby now features redesigned check-in desks, contemporary lighting, dark wood accents, and crystal chandeliers.
Tejas Lounge, located at the west end of the lobby, offers a curated menu of Texas spirits and light bites in a cozy yet sophisticated setting. Replacing the former Bar Rojo, Moda Fare serves Italian cuisine in a casual, stylish dining experience. The new restaurant includes updated wood flooring, contemporary furnishings, and a garden-style patio.
The renovation also includes the transformation of Perks Coffee into Spoonful Provisions, a premium coffeehouse featuring locally roasted coffee, house-made treats, and an updated design with marble countertops, blue tile, and a floral mural.
Grand Hyatt San Antonio River Walk, part of the Hyatt Hotels Corp., is one of the largest properties on the River Walk. It caters to both leisure and business travelers.
“We are so excited to provide our guests with these impressive updates. These renovations reflect our commitment to providing an exceptional stay for every guest who walks through our doors,” says Ryan Fender, general manager of Grand Hyatt San Antonio River Walk. “The completion of this project brings comfort and convenience to our guests and celebrates traditional Texas flavors and hospitality in a luxurious setting.”
