AUSTIN, Texas – Rockbridge and HRI Properties have announced the opening of Hilton Garden Inn Austin University Capitol District, a 214-room hotel located in the heart of downtown Austin.
The downtown property offers more than 4,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including the Apex Room and 17th-floor rooftop terrace.
The hotel can host events ranging from large gatherings to socially distanced setups and is ideal for small networking groups to medium-sized conferences.
Additional property features include a ground-level bar and restaurant, second-floor breakfast room and meeting space, fitness center with a yoga corner, and pet-friendly amenities. With its location between the Texas Capitol Corridor and the University of Texas, the property is a short walk to downtown Austin’s parks, restaurants, bars, and famous Sixth Street music venues.

Each guest room features a 55-inch SMART TV with premium cable and streaming, mini refrigerator, microwave, K-cup coffee maker, laptop safe, free Wi-Fi, and Hilton Beautyrest Harmony beds. The guest room décor pays homage to Austin’s live music scene with artwork made from vintage posters from the Austin City Limits Music Festival.
To emphasize Hilton’s commitment to the health and safety of guests, the property is participating in the Hilton CleanStay Program. The elevated processes and team member training have been developed with Reckitt, maker of Lysol and Dettol.
