ATLANTA—Hotel Granada, a revitalized independent hotel in Midtown Atlanta, will open this month and is accepting reservations now.
Boasting 120 elegantly appointed rooms and a charming open-air courtyard restaurant serving as an all-day dining and cocktail destination, Hotel Granada offers a haven for guests in the city’s bustling heart.
Through its thoughtful restoration, Hotel Granada is a dramatic departure from Atlanta’s modern skyline, embracing its rich history as a longstanding fixture of the city.
Architect Ken Gowland of MetroStudio led the building’s architecture rehabilitation and preservation. Originally built as the Granada Apartments, an urban retreat for Georgian socialites, Hotel Granada’s design and branding pays homage to the individuals who dwelled there decades ago.
Celebrated up-and-coming designer Cameron Carr infused the hotel with an urban oasis feel, combining Spanish bohemian style and Southern charm and featuring calming tones of green, blue, and ochre, alongside touches of natural wood, bespoke furnishings, and layered textiles to seamlessly blend old-world vintage and Southern inspirations throughout the exterior courtyard, dining venues, and lobby.
Continuing the bohemian tribute to Spanish and Southern influences, the guest rooms reflect a moody color palette of deep blue, rich tones of brown, red, sage, and hints of gold.
“The unveiling of Hotel Granada marks a significant milestone for us,” says Mario Tricoci, chief executive officer and founder of Aparium Hotel Group. “Hotel Granada stands as a testament to Atlanta’s enduring spirit and reflects Aparium’s commitment to creating distinctive, independent hotels within the vibrant communities we’re proud to serve.”
