Industry veteran with ‘deep ties’ to Texas joins The Kimpton Pittman Hotel Dallas

DALLAS, Texas – Bill Jordan has been appointed director of sales and marketing for The Kimpton Pittman Hotel Dallas.

Jordan, who is already serving in his new role, oversees all strategic sales and marketing initiatives for the historic property, bringing nearly four decades of leadership, sales experience, market analysis, and strategic planning to the hotel.

“Bill is a highly accomplished professional and a true asset to our team, his expertise in sales and marketing, combined with his years of hotel experience will be an invaluable resource to The Kimpton Pittman Hotel Dallas,” says Rajeev Gopalakrishnan, hotel general manager. “We are looking forward to working together and elevating the presence of both the hotel and our acclaimed restaurant, Elm & Good.”

Jordan was previously employed by Omni Hotels and Resorts, most recently in Houston where he served as director of operations, complex director of sales and marketing, and director of sales and marketing at Omni Houston Hotel at Westside. He was awarded Director of Sales and Marketing for 2008 while at Omni Richmond Hotel, and also served as director of sales at Omni Fort Worth Hotel. He held a similar role at InterContinental Hotels and Resorts and was a member of the opening team at the hotel located in Houston’s Texas Medical Center.

Prior to relocating to Texas in 2014, Jordan spent 20 years with Marriott Hotels and Resorts. He is an active member of his church and community and serves as a volunteer for the animal rescue group, Mile High Labrador Retriever Mission.
