JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa has introduced David Cronin as the resort’s new manager.

Cronin joins the resort with more than 25 years of experience working with luxury lifestyle brands. He joins JW Marriott San Antonio from his previous position as general manager of W Nashville and has held multiple general manager positions at hotels throughout the United States.

Cronin’s track record for successful management encompasses a broad cross-section of hospitality and food and beverage operations. Under his watch, his properties earned a myriad of awards.

As resort manager for JW Marriott San Antonio, Cronin will lead the property’s operations, and develop and implement business strategies to exceed the resort and brand’s goals while creating “one-of-a-kind experiences and memories for guests,” according to a media release.

“I am thrilled to join the family at JW Marriott San Antonio and look forward to leading the resort to continued success while bringing new strategic and creative ideas to the property,” says Cronin. “It is apparent that the resort is beloved by returning guests and those that are experiencing it for the first time. I am confident I can further enhance the service and brand initiatives of this luxurious, unique property.”

JW Marriott San Antonio sits amid 600 acres in the Texas Hill Country. The award-winning resort features 1,002 guest rooms; seven restaurant and lounge options; a nine-acre water park experience; TPC San Antonio, a 36-hole PGA TOUR golf facility; the full-service Lantana Spa; and more than 26,500 square feet of customizable meeting and event space.

  1. Your arrival must be why I am no longer allowed to front desk or staff on property prior to arrival. After having been a customer at this location for over ten years I canceled our reservations and will no longer be staying at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country.
