Louisville Tourism announces recent staff additions and promotions

LOUISVILLE, Ky.Louisville Tourism recently announced the promotion and addition of key members to its team, including Carissa Koral as director of northeast sales.

Koral, who has more than 20 years of experience in the industry, joined Louisville Tourism in 2023. She has been influential in expanding and activating the organization’s northeast convention market strategy, while building client relationships and driving group business.

Before joining Louisville Tourism, Koral worked at Starwood Hotels & Resorts in Waikiki, Hawaii, where she was a member of the associate development program, OTA revenue manager, and complex revenue management for Sheraton Princess Kaiulani hotel. She is an active member of MPI, PCMA, Northeast CVB Reps, and FICP (Financial & Insurance Conference Professionals), and contributes to the meetings and events industry through various chapter board and committee roles, including the board of directors for MPI New England Chapter and committee member for the Northeast CVB reps group.

Louisville Tourism also promoted Joel Sallee from convention sales assistant to sales coordinator. For the past two and a half years, Sallee has played a significant role in supporting sales managers and organizing the customer advisory council and many FAM events, including the PGA Championship and DOS meetings.

Connor Foster, previously an intern at Louisville Tourism, was hired as tourism development coordinator. In her role, she will uphold relationships with Louisville Tourism’s partners and organize the Attraction Network Meetings.

Ragan Savage was hired as a convention sales assistant after graduating from Northern Kentucky University, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theatre.
