
DALLAS, Texas – JW Marriott Dallas Arts District, set to open in spring 2023, has appointed Mike Culver as general manager. Culver will join the hotel’s leadership team after previously serving as hotel manager at the Marriott Marquis Houston.
Culver brings a great deal of experience to the 23-floor, 267-room hotel which will open in the Dallas Arts District, the largest contiguous arts district in the United States.
Beginning his career in hospitality with Starwood Hotels in 2003, Culver has led teams in hotel operations across multiple brands. He has managed hotels in completing renovation projects and achieved records in revenue and produced best-in-class results in guest satisfaction and associate Engagement.

JW Marriott Dallas Arts District will feature three restaurants, a spacious lobby and cocktail lounge, meeting and conference areas, a ballroom, a fitness center, and mid-air pool and deck with 40-foot ceilings, a terrace bar, cabanas, and an outdoor event space offering prime views of the downtown area and beyond. The hotel is located near many of Dallas’ museums including the Dallas Museum of Art, Nasher Sculpture Center, Crow Museum of Asian Art, and more.
