CLEARWATER BEACH, Fla. – On Friday, Oct. 27, Moss Construction and Opal Sol held a topping-off ceremony to celebrate the building reaching its final height with the completion of the outer structure.
A new phase in the resort’s construction now begins, with the framing of 248 suites and the luxury resort amenities including three pools (two with waterfront views), full-service Opal Spa, and four unique restaurant concepts including the resort’s marquee Drift restaurant.
With its unique curved design that mirrors its sister Opal Collection property, Opal Sands, every one of Opal Sol’s 248 suites (which will range from studio to three bedrooms) will boast views of the Gulf of Mexico. Both resorts will be connected via an elevated skyway bridge which will provide an opportunity for guests to enjoy shared privileges and additional dining and luxury amenities.
For meetings and events, Opal Sol will offer 57,194 square feet of event space. When combined with Opal Sands, the properties offer more than 106,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor and ancillary space that can accommodate groups of 700 attendees.
The Opal Sol is expected to open in Clearwater Beach in 2025.
