PENSACOLA BEACH, Fla. –  The Pensacola Beach Resort, an independently branded, premium hotel, has officially opened on Florida’s Emerald Coast.

The hotel features  161 waterfront guest rooms including 24 executive king rooms with wrap-around balconies, coastal-inspired public spaces; an elevated pool deck; a new restaurant concept; retail offerings; a beach bar; and a curated art collection featuring impressionist maritime images, and a nod to the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and local boating culture.

“The Pensacola Beach Resort aims to set a new standard for travelers visiting our beaches,” said Leigh Taylor, co-founder and principal of Corsair Hospitality Group, which manages the hotel. “We are deeply rooted here in Pensacola as our company has been developing and managing hotels along this coast for over 40 years. It’s a unique destination, and we are thrilled to show our guests all that our home has to offer.”

Sitting on over 800 ft of gulf-front property, the resort has 360-degree water views overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, Little Sabine Bay, and the Intracoastal Waterway.

The Pensacola Beach Resort features an elevated pool deck overlooking the Gulf, including a poolside tiki bar serving beverages and specialty island cocktails.

Also open exclusively to hotel guests, Windrose, the resort’s newly rebranded restaurant, takes its name from Pensacola’s historic maritime culture and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu features a mix of hotel classics and coastal cuisine inspired by the flavors of the area’s Southern roots.

The resort is also home to The Salty Rose, a beach bar and grill. Open to the public, guests, and locals can visit for island music, beach games, and a menu of fresh salads, fish sandwiches, and loaded nachos. The Salty Rose will offer a new calendar of programming throughout the year.

The Pensacola Beach Resort offers numerous activities for families and guests of all ages. Guests have a private boardwalk out to the beach on the Gulf of Mexico with beach chairs and umbrella rentals available and a private dock on Little Sabine Bay from which they can kayak or paddleboard. Guests can also reserve a dolphin cruise aboard an open-air powerboat to see one of the largest populations of Atlantic bottlenose dolphins in their natural habitat.

The property also features 1,200 square feet of renovated event space for meetings, conferences, retreats, or destination weddings. The Lagoon Room holds 80 guests, while the 11-seat Blue Angels boardroom is directly next door, featuring professional audiovisual equipment.

The hotel has selected Jill Vose to serve as its general manager. With more than 25 years of experience, Vose has a proven track record in the hospitality industry. Most recently, she spent six years as the corporate director of owner/franchise services for Marriott International, where she coached and mentored hotel owners and franchise management companies for over 50 hotels in the U.S. and Canada.

The hotel is 20 minutes from Pensacola International Airport and 10 minutes from downtown. This July, the hotel will be the premier location for the Blue Angels Pensacola Beach Air Show.
