USA Today has released the list of its Readers Choice Top 10 boutique hotels in the country, with a number in the South.
Topping the list at #1 is the Beaufort Hotel NC in Beaufort, N.C. USA Today’s editors describe it as having sustainability and accommodations that are “greatly admired” by guests, as well as waterfront views.
Coming in at #3 is The Everett Hotel in Bryson City, N.C. It is described as having a “modern Southern-fare bistro” and 10 luxury suites. Also in North Carolina, the Graylyn Estate in Winston-Salem comes in at #5 on the list. At this property, editors write that visitors to the 55-acre property are treated like “royalty.”
The #8 boutique hotel on the list is Hotel Trouvail Miami Beach in Miami Beach, Fla., which features an Art Deco look and is only a block away from the famous beach. Also on the list at #9 is New Orleans’s The Chloe, which has 14 individually styled rooms.
