HOUSTON—The Moran CITYCENTRE has completed multimillion-dollar renovations, debuting refreshed guest rooms, expanded meeting spaces, a new front desk, a lobby bar, and terrace space. Real estate investment and development firm Miday announced the completion of the renovations.
The Moran CITYCENTRE’S public spaces now feature The Allegory Bar, a new venue along with its adjacent 950-square-foot terrace, which offers guests an overview of CITYCENTRE’s central gathering area with seating areas, high-top tables, heaters, and fans.
In addition to new spaces, all 244 guest rooms have been refreshed with new furnishings, bedding, lighting, and technology upgrades. New amenities include bar carts stocked with Texas-based liquors, snacks and Illy coffee service, custom bath products, plush robes, and handheld steamers.
The hotel’s meeting spaces have also been revived, including the new Pecos Junior Ballroom located in the former Fireside Lounge, which offers an intimate setting for gatherings of up to 180 guests. It features a full-service granite and marble-finished bar, a dedicated catering kitchen, and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the pool, which can also be reserved for events. The Wichita Room, located across from the new Café breakfast spot is equipped with a 60-inch television with laptop connectivity, full audiovisual capabilities, and seating for eight people.
“Our visitors desired an elevated experience with expanded dining concepts and social spaces along with contemporary finishes and amenities,” said Steven Terrebonne, general manager. “We look forward to hosting business travelers, leisure seekers, and locals as they experience our reimagined property.”
