
ATLANTA—Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead has appointed Girlie Joseph as director of spa and wellness. She has more than 25 years of hospitality and resort spa experience.
Originally from the Turks and Caicos Islands, Joseph gained extensive experience working in various roles throughout the Caribbean before settling down in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Throughout the past 17 years, she held various senior spa director roles, building on a diverse foundation in massage therapy and esthetics. Most recently, she served as spa director for Conrad Hotels & Resorts.
As director of spa and wellness for Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead, Joseph will oversee the multi-award-winning Waldorf Astoria Spa operations, ensuring the 15,000-square-foot space continues to be a sanctuary of relaxation and rejuvenation in the heart of Atlanta. Further, she will spearhead the rollout of the myCODAGE experience, offering spa guests a hyper-personalized skincare experience with custom serum formulation to suit their individual needs and goals.
