FORT WORTH, Texas – Hotel Drover, an Autograph Collection hotel, has appointed Chris Saputo to the role of general manager of the 200-room hotel, which opened in March 2021. The hotel features more than 40,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space.
Saputo has held key leadership roles for several players in the luxury hotel industry, including Four Seasons, Las Alcobas, Carneros Resort & Spa, Ojai Valley Inn, The Resort at Pelican Hill, and more. From bellman to general manager, Saputo rose through the ranks and became a leader.
Most recently, Saputo served as the director of operations for Las Alcobas in St. Helena, Calif., which rebranded as Alila Napa Valley in March 2021. During that time, he oversaw a multimillion-dollar renovation.
During this trying time for the industry, he worked closely with sales and marketing as well as revenue management to develop the resort’s business strategy. He also prioritized the standards and financial goals for the celebrity chef restaurant, Acacia House.
Saputo attended Arizona State University, and outside of the office, he can be found golfing or enjoying quality time with his fiancée and his two dogs, English Mastiff Jupiter and Saint Bernard Doodle Senna.
