Destinations International, the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), and PCMA have announced Business Events Industry Week scheduled for next March.
According to a media release, the purpose of the program “is to unite the global business events industry and to reinforce the power of business events to advance economies and social good.” The week is intended for destinations and industry service suppliers to optimize their time with clients and engage with learning experiences.
The inaugural Business Events Industry Week, scheduled for March 23-25, 2022, will include key business event industry players, including associations, corporations, destination organization professionals, industry suppliers, and business events strategists. The program will feature client meetings and events all taking place at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center at National Harbor in Maryland.
The following industry events will coincide with Business Events Industry Week:
– Destinations International’s Convention Sales & Services Summit will be held on Wednesday, March 23, as will a series of PCMA leadership meetings.
– The PCMA Foundation’s Visionary Awards will be held on Thursday, March 24, as will IAEE’s Women’s Leadership Forum.
– Destination Showcase, a joint venture between Destinations International and PCMA, will be held on Friday, March 25.
