Clemson University’s Madren Conference Center has a 120-seat auditorium, a 10,000-square-foot enclosed pavilion, and seminar rooms accommodating up to 300 guests. The center’s largest space, a 5,684-square-foot ballroom, can host 600 for receptions and theatre-style seating, 400 for banquets, and 290 for classroom seating. A 2,402-square-foot junior ballroom fits 264 theater style and 160 banquet style. Overnight accommodations are available at the adjacent James F. Martin Inn, which has 62 guest rooms and 27 luxury suites. Clemson University Outdoor Lab features eight distinct venues, including Kresge Hall, which can host up to 150 guests, and Cannon Chapel/Pavilion, for up to 250 people. Additional indoor and outdoor spaces for smaller groups are available, along with overnight accommodations in one- and two-bedroom suites and cabins.
Occasions at Wedgefield event venue seats up to 250 people for receptions and includes an outdoor garden, which can accommodate up to 175 guests. Palmetto’s Smokehouse and Oyster Bar Event Center can host and cater gatherings of up to 300 people. For smaller events, the meeting room at Central/Clemson Library can accommodate 50 people.
Best Western Plus Clemson Hotel & Conference Center, part of the Kash Hotels portfolio, features more than 6,000 square feet of event space and can accommodate up to 600 people in its largest room. Shepherd Hotel in downtown Clemson has rooftop space and an open-air terrace bar. The 36-room Inn at Patrick Square can accommodate events of up to 150 people.
