Named after a favorite son, the 2,200-seat Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts & Sciences has two smaller theaters, several banquet and event rooms, and outdoor event spaces.
The 303-room Overton Hotel & Conference Center has 20,000 square feet of function space to seat 1,200 guests theater style. The 293-room MCM Eleganté Hotel & Suites Lubbock has 14,000 square feet of event space; 165-room Cotton Court Hotel has 7,298 square feet of function space; and 107-room Holiday Inn South has banquet space for 230 guests. The 140-room DoubleTree by Hilton and 156-room Embassy Suites each can seat 200 guests theater style.
