The 109-room Fredonia Hotel & Convention Center, in Nacogdoches’ historic downtown, includes a newly restored boutique hotel and the city’s largest meeting and banquet venue, which boasts 20,000 square feet of convention space and state-of-the-art audiovisual capabilities. The Fredonia also has two onsite restaurants, Nine Flags Bar & Grill and Republic of Fredonia Steakhouse. Nacogdoches County Exposition & Civic Center features a 78,000-square-foot arena for concerts and large events and a civic center with more than 20,000 square feet of event space with a capacity of 1,000 people.
The University Center at Stephen F. Austin University has a 200-seat movie theater, a grand ballroom with a capacity of 1,000 people theater style, and space for smaller gatherings. Banita Creek Hall, promoted as a “grand Texas dance hall,” accommodates 900 people in its largest space. Fredonia Brewery, a downtown working brewery, offers ample indoor meeting space and a large courtyard facility for outside events.
