
ATLANTA—The Georgia Association of Convention & Visitors Bureaus (GACVB) has awarded Jo Ann Haden-Miller its Tourism Legacy Award, recognizing her 30-plus-year career in the tourism industry.
The award was presented during the Georgia Tourism Excellence Awards, held on the final evening of the organization’s annual conference.
Haden-Miller serves as senior director of partnerships for the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) and as executive director of the ACVB Foundation. She has worked with the bureau since 1989 and has contributed to several major cultural initiatives in Atlanta, including co-founding the BronzeLens Film Festival and supporting the arrival of the MICHELIN Guide in the city.
Haden-Miller’s impact extends beyond destination marketing into workforce development and community initiatives, particularly through her work with the ACVB Foundation, where she has promoted education and the arts.
The Tourism Legacy Award recognizes Haden-Miller’s role in helping position Atlanta as a global cultural destination and her continued efforts to support and mentor future tourism professionals.
