Rocky Gap Casino Resort in Flintstone features 198 guest rooms and indoor/outdoor event space for up to 400 people in its largest space. Amenities include several dining outlets, hiking, golfing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and pedal boats.
In historic Cumberland, the county seat, the 130-room Ramada by Windham Cumberland Downtown contains 4,100 square feet of event space to host 400 guests for conferences or 350 for banquets. The hotel’s restaurant and bar are currently closed for redevelopment. Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Cumberland, near Interstate 68 and downtown Cumberland, features more than 1,000 square feet of event space and a capacity of 60 people.
Columbia has spent the last decade revitalizing infrastructure and securing new developments for its historic buildings. Future developments include outdoor dining at existing restaurants, new shops and galleries, and a 20-room boutique hotel scheduled to open in a historic downtown building later this year.
