Bartlesville’s history includes a frontier trading post and mill, the discovery of the first commercial oil well in Oklahoma, and a petroleum boom. Today, the city has a population of more than 36,000 residents who enjoy a mix of nature, business, and arts. Bartlesville is home to the only skyscraper completed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright and to Woolaroc Museum & Wildlife Preserve, a 3,700-acre ranch and home of oil baron Frank Phillips. Wright’s skyscraper, the 19-story Price Tower, is currently closed. Woolaroc features a Western art and artifacts museum, an event center with a capacity of 100 guests for banquets, a newly renovated welcome center with a capacity of 150 guests, and a historic lodge for smaller events.
Bartlesville Community Center has a variety of spaces, including a 500-seat community hall and smaller rooms for breakout sessions.
