Historic Eureka Springs, a tourist resort since the late 1800s, has a walkable downtown with Victorian-era buildings, locally owned shops and restaurants, historic hotels (some said to be haunted), and more than 60 natural hot springs. Attractions include an outdoor drama, the seven-story-high Christ of the Ozarks statue, historic train rides, and parks.
Unique event venues include The AUD, which seats 1,000; LaGrange Lavender Farm, with a café, barn event space, and classes and workshops; and Blue Springs Heritage Center, with reception space for 500 guests.
Perched on a hill overlooking downtown, the 1886 Crescent Hotel & Spa has 72 guest rooms, a 2,947-square-foot ballroom, multiple meeting rooms, a conservatory, and a lawn. Basin Park Hotel, downtown’s only full-service hotel, has 61 guest rooms, a full-service spa, and event space, including a grand ballroom accommodating up to 250 people for receptions. Both historic hotels are known for their ghost tours.
