Event management website Eventbrite has added new ChatGPT-powered tools to help event planners with tasks such as event details, email campaigns, and social media ads.
As reported by TechCrunch, the new features will allow planners to create an event page with automatically generated descriptions and images linked to the event’s title, location, and date. Event types, categories, and subcategories are all also filled automatically by the tools.
The article states this isn’t the first time Eventbrite has introduced AI-related resources. Its Eventbrite Boost tool allows planners to use “machine learning”’ to target audiences on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. It is available on a monthly tier pricing system from $15 to $100.
According to the Tech Crunch article, Eventbrite is hopeful the new tools will help event creators save time by providing them with a starting point for these tasks instead of creating everything from scratch. The company also believes these features could boost engagement, reach a greater audience, and increase ticket sales.
A company spokesperson told TechCrunch it plans to expand on these features with even-more AI tools to further “streamline the event hosting experience.”
