Gainesville Regional Airport, which recently completed a $16 million terminal expansion, is within 10 miles of 5,500 hotel rooms and multiple event and meeting facilities.
Larger event hotels include the 248-room Hilton University of Florida Conference Center, with 25,000 square feet of function space; Best Western Gateway Grand, with 8,000 square feet of function space; 167-room Holiday Inn University Center, with 4,000 square feet of indoor banquet and meeting space, plus a rooftop pool deck; 173-room Hotel ELEO at the University of Florida, with meeting space for 180 guests and additional dining and outdoor spaces; and 140-room Hotel Indigo Celebration Pointe, with 5,000 square feet of function space.
Offsite venues include 1908 Grand, a historic downtown venue with ballroom seating for 120 people, an 80-person capacity event room, and a courtyard; and the Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention, with a rotunda, galleries, and interactive labs.
