
CLEARWATER BEACH, Fla.—Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa has named Ildebrando Salazar as director of sales and marketing. Salazar joins the Clearwater Beach hotel after most recently serving as part of the opening team for Hyatt Regency Conroe in Texas.
In his new role, Salazar will provide support and guidance to Hyatt Regency Clearwater Resort & Spa’s sales team to ensure unforgettable meetings and events for group guests. He will also oversee the resort’s marketing efforts, including digital, print, and local strategies, to help further drive awareness to the premier travel experience available at the hotel.
Salazar has more than 15 years of hospitality experience, including various roles at Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa in San Antonio, Grand Hyatt San Antonio, Woodlands (Texas) Resort & Conference Center, and Hyatt Regency Orlando (Fla.) International Airport. In 2022, Salazar joined the opening team for Hyatt Regency Conroe, as director of sales, marketing, and events. Salazar played an integral part in the successful launch of the Conroe property and in building a strong and thriving sales and marketing team.
