Cambridge, Md.— Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa & Marina, located on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, completed an extensive renovation to its meeting and event spaces following the transformation of the resort’s ballrooms in 2023. This latest development is the last of a comprehensive upgrade to all onsite meeting venues.
The renovation includes small and mid-sized meeting spaces and corridors, adding a calm, fresh palette of neutral gray and blue tones, new light fixtures and modern wall sconces, plush blue carpeting with gold accent patterns, and updated gray and beige wall coverings.
“Our newly renovated meeting and event spaces are designed to further elevate the resort experiences for groups, offering a seamless blend of modern elegance and coastal inspiration,” says Cari Ruppert, director of sales, marketing and events at Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay. “With this final phase of meeting space updates, we are thrilled to provide a fully refreshed setting that fosters collaboration, creativity, and unforgettable gatherings.”
In addition, the resort’s business center has been converted into a new 500-square-foot meeting space called Blue Heron, ideal for small meetings for up to 40 people.
The resort has more than 122,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, including the Chesapeake Ballroom, with 11,259 square feet, and the Choptank Ballroom, with 4,860 square feet; both feature pre-function foyers with floor-to-ceiling windows. For mid-sized and intimate meetings, the Galleon and Clipper rooms accommodate up to 175 guests while the Skipjack, Cutter, and Schooner rooms each host up to 100 guests. There is also 85,000 square feet of outdoor event space.
