According to the Jonesboro Tourism & Visitors Bureau, the city has a rich and colorful music scene, with a focus on Delta blues and plenty of places to catch live music. The city also has great local shops, boutiques, and restaurants serving up local fare.
The largest event space in town is at the 203-suite Embassy Suites by Hilton Red Wolf Convention Center, located on the Arkansas State University (ASU) campus. The hotel and convention center has 40,000 total square feet of event space, with 14 meeting rooms and the ability to host 1,000 banquet guests or 1,500 reception guests. The facility is a quarter-mile from the 30,000-seat Centennial Bank Stadium.
Other hotels with event space include a 109-room Hilton Garden Inn, with five meeting rooms; a Courtyard by Marriott, with a 50-person meeting capacity; and a 102-room Holiday Inn, with four small meeting rooms.
Rental spaces on the ASU campus include a 550-seat lecture hall and 316-seat auditorium, plus additional classrooms and event spaces.
