LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) has launched its mobile Black Culture Pass highlighting the city’s top attractions related to Black history and civil rights, local Juneteenth events, and Black-owned restaurants.
Available to both tourists and residents, participants can redeem a prize based on their pass “check-ins” at various locations.
“We’re excited to launch our new Black Culture Pass to purposefully coincide with [recent] Juneteenth events and activities,” says Kasey Summerville, LRCVB vice president of marketing, communications & community engagement. “It’s a great way to honor our city’s Black history and explore our Black culture.”
“This free mobile pass is designed to elevate the guest experience in the destination, while the LRCVB continues to support and promote our hospitality and tourism partners,” she adds.
The mobile-only pass includes nearly 40 of Little Rock’s local cultural attractions, events, and dining establishments. People can use the pass as a personal guide for things to see and do while electronically “checking in” at designated sites across the city, earning points along the way, and redeeming toward a special Juneteenth in Da Rock commemorative poster as they explore. To earn the poster, people must collect 50 points. The first 50 participants to earn 50 points will receive a poster signed by the artist.
The Black Culture Pass is the LRCVB’s fourth mobile pass since launching the series in May 2022. Others include the Attractions Pass, Pedal Pass, and seasonal Holidays in Little Rock Pass. For more information or to sign up for the pass, visit littlerock.com/plan-your-trip/pass/
