According to Visit Lubbock, the city has approximately 7,000 guest rooms. The 303-room Overton Hotel & Conference Center features 20,000 square feet of recently refreshed function space and can accommodate up to 1,200 conference guests. MCM Eleganté Hotel & Suites offers 293 guest rooms and 14,000 square feet of event space; Cotton Court Hotel has 165 guest rooms and 7,298 square feet of function space; the 107-room Holiday Inn South can seat 230 banquet guests; and the 140-room DoubleTree by Hilton and 156-room Embassy Suites each can seat approximately 200 guests theater style.
Larger venues include the 2,200-seat Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts & Sciences and the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center, which includes a 14,000-square-foot banquet hall, a 1,395-seat theater, space for 185 exhibit booths, outdoor venues, and an amphitheater.
