The historic 1886 Cox Building in downtown is the town’s main event facility, featuring a top-floor ballroom with seating for 200 and two additional meeting and reception spaces.
Downtown, The Landing at Limestone entertainment district includes restaurants and bars, Kentucky Gateway Museum, and Old Pogue Experience, which offers tastings and event space for small groups. Just a couple miles from downtown, Old Pogue Distillery, family-owned for six generations, offers tours and tastings by appointment only.
Additional venues include the 500-seat Washington Opera House and the historic 700-seat Russell Theatre, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. The 93-room Hampton Inn Maysville and the 61-room French Quarter Inn at The Landing at Limestone have event spaces for small gatherings.
