The Sheraton McKinney Hotel features 11,451 square feet of indoor event space, accommodating up to 824 guests, and a 63,000-square-foot event lawn for larger gatherings. Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites McKinney-N. Allen can accommodate up to 250 people in its largest space, while the 105-room Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Dallas McKinney has meeting space for smaller groups.
A new 84-room Tru by Hilton McKinney opened in spring 2025 off Interstate 75. Properties scheduled to open in 2026 include avid hotel Dallas North – McKinney by IHG, AC Marriott Hotel, La Quinta Inn & Suites, and Hawthorn Suites.
McKinney’s unique venues include the historic Cotton Mill, with a capacity of 400 guests, and Sanctuary Music & Events, which can accommodate up to 230 people for receptions. McKinney’s Community Event Center can accommodate 800 for lectures. Heard Natural Science Museum has indoor space for 100 and an outdoor amphitheater for 525.
