Downtown’s Barbara & George H.W. Bush Convention Center has a 20,000-square-foot exhibit hall, a 6,000-square-foot ballroom, and 3,000 square feet of meeting rooms, plus additional function spaces.
The city has a variety of unique offsite event spaces, according to VisitMidland.com. The Permian Basin Petroleum Museum has space for up to 2,000 guests, including an auditorium. Kessler’s Reception Hall includes a 4,000-square-foot indoor room and a 3,000-square-foot patio to accommodate up to 300 guests. The Venue at Live Oak is available for concerts, galas, and corporate events, offering both indoor and tented patio space for up to 250 guests. The Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center features a 1,800-seat main hall, a recital hall, and lobby event space.
The 262-room Wyndham Midland Downtown features 8,979 square feet of function space with a capacity of 652 people. Springhill Suites Midland Odessa has meeting space for 180 guests. The Hilton Garden Inn Midland has 157 guest rooms and 4,005 square feet of event space; it can accommodate 200 people banquet style.
