FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Pier Sixty-Six Resort, the centerpiece of a $1 billion redevelopment project by Tavistock Development Company, is set to have a whole new identity in the fall of 2024.
Celebrated as one of the most striking façades in the area, the 32-acre waterfront resort complex along the Intracoastal Waterway will reopen with a world-class marina, luxury resort, food and beverage experiences, a marina promenade with waterfront shops and alfresco dining, and the property’s first residential offerings.
“For more than 50 years, Pier Sixty-Six has captured the hearts and imaginations of guests from around the world. Now, the resort has embarked on its next chapter—one that is preserving its storied past and equally creating new memories for generations to come,” says Craig Collin, president/CEO at Tavistock Development Company. “We have a steadfast commitment to strengthen the integrity and keep the nostalgia of the property alive, while seamlessly blending in purposeful design and welcoming the future.”
Each of the 325 rooms and suites at the resort will boast a timeless design with modern luxury touches. With the introduction of a 15,000-square-foot spa, fitness center, a multi-level pool, more than 40,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event and meeting space, a marina promenade, and one of the largest superyacht marinas on the eastern seaboard.
