
VALDOSTA, Ga.—The Rainwater Conference Center in Valdosta, Ga., appointed three new team members to enhance the meetings and events team and to manage the recently renovated facility. The conference center completed approximately $1 million in upgrades last year.
Susie Ellington joins the team as catering sales manager, serving as the on-staff specialist for all events, including weddings, conferences, and meetings.
Patrick Pearson joins as marketing manager of The Rainwater Conference Center and Visit Valdosta. Pearson will execute marketing strategies to elevate the facility’s brand and drive engagement.
Danielle Robards joins as director of group development for The Rainwater Conference Center and Visit Valdosta. Robards will focus on driving group sales and cultivating relationships with event planners, tour operators, and organizations. She will also implement strategies to increase visits and economic impact through partnerships and collaborations with local stakeholders to promote Valdosta and The Rainwater Conference Center as destinations.
All three new team members are working to elevate The Rainwater Conference Center’s reputation as a locally recognized facility and a nationally thriving hub for meetings and events.
