Nestled in the picturesque Ozark Mountains foothills, Rogers is a hidden gem in the heart of fast-growing northwest Arkansas, according to Luke Wiggins, director of sales for Destination Rogers. “With a metropolitan population of 590,000, this thriving area has emerged as a
hub of innovation and economic prosperity,” he says. “At the epicenter of growth are industry giants like Walmart, Tyson Foods, and J.B. Hunt Transport. These titans of commerce not only have shaped the landscape of the region but also have propelled it to global prominence. Our area is renowned for its expertise in supply chain and logistics, retail technology, and food innovation—making it an ideal destination for organizations seeking to tap into world-class leadership and knowledge on these subjects.”
The area surrounding the 400-room Embassy Suites and Rogers Convention Center, which offers a combined 125,000 square feet of event space, has seen $2 billion in private development throughout the past few years,
with more planned. “The convention district also is a culinary and entertainment paradise with more than 70 restaurants, from chain favorites to upscale local dining,” Wiggins says.
Several new hotels are in the works throughout the city. A 170-room Hilton Tapestry and a 125-room Marriott Autograph at the Plaza are expected to open in late 2024 or early 2025. A 207-room Dream Hotel and 2,200-seat concert venue are currently pending approval.
Entertainment options include K1 Speed racing experiences, Topgolf, Daisy Air Gun Museum, and Blue Zoo Aquarium, plus big-name concerts at the 9,000-seat Walmart AMP and regional acts at downtown’s Railyard Live, with free weekend concerts in the summer. A 5,000-seat United Soccer League (USL) soccer stadium is set to open in 2026 for the upcoming men’s USL Championship and women’s USL Super League teams.
Additional venues include a 122-room Courtyard by Marriott at Pinnacle Hills, with space to host 300 meeting guests, and a 130-room Aloft, with two event spaces that can hold 55 people each.
