Venues reflecting the city’s heritage include the Cactus Hotel—one of the original Conrad Hilton hotels and now an event venue with a variety of spaces, including an elegant lobby, a mezzanine, and a ballroom seating 350 banquet style; and Fort Concho National Historic Landmark, which offers a frontier museum, a variety of event spaces, and regularly scheduled activities.
The 171-room La Quinta Inn by Wyndham and Conference Center San Angelo features 6,500 square feet of event space, accommodating up to 300 people. There are approximately 2,880 guest rooms in the city.
The McNease Convention Center has four divisible event spaces to accommodate up to 1,200 guests theater style or 700 banquet style. Foster Communications Coliseum includes a 20,000-square-foot exhibit floor and 5,000 permanent seats. CJ Davidson Conference Center at Angelo State University offers full conference facilities, featuring more than 110,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
