
DALLAS, Texas – Sheraton Dallas has hired Dave Swift as its new director of sales and marketing. Swift brings more than 30 years of hospitality experience to the role.
Swift joins Sheraton Dallas from Marriott Marquis Houston where he served in a similar role. Throughout his career, Swift has managed pre-openings of hotels and brand conversions and developed an expertise in strategic planning and solutions, marketing communications campaigns, sales administration, and process development.
“I am proud to join the Sheraton Dallas family and work with such a prominent hotel in the region,” Swift said. “I look forward to introducing creative, new strategies to position the hotel and convention center space in the best light possible within our industry.”
Swift will be responsible for overseeing the hotel’s sales and marketing departments, including managing sales efforts, implementing brand initiatives and communications, and managing marketing strategies for the property’s guest rooms, meetings and events, and dining outlets.

Sheraton Dallas is the largest hotel in north Texas with 1841 guest rooms and more than 230,000 square feet of flexible meeting and convention space.
