Stillwater offers planners ease of access, hometown hospitality, and the amenities of being “America’s Friendliest College Town,” according to Visit Stillwater. The city’s destination marketing team has more than 40 years of combined experience working with meeting and event planners, and the college-town charm and major-city amenities ensure events are memorable and successful.
Oklahoma State University (OSU) offers a variety of on-campus venues, including the recently opened O’Brate Stadium, home to Cowboys Baseball, with approximately 3,500 seats, suites, and dedicated club areas. Also on campus, McKnight Center for the Performing Arts features a 1,100-seat concert hall, 222-seat recital hall, and 1,000-seat outdoor amphitheater; and the Outdoor Adventure Challenge Course offers all ages a variety of physical and mental challenges, with games, obstacles, and problem-solving activities. Campus Corner, situated adjacent to the campus, offers shopping, dining, and nightlife options.
According to VisitStillwater.org, The Atherton Hotel at OSU, located within the OSU Student Union building, has 69 guest rooms and space to host a 50-person reception. Holiday Inn Express & Suites Stillwater University West has 2,000 square feet of function space. There are approximately 1,400 guest rooms in the city.
Payne County Expo Center offers 85,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including two large halls and a community building seating 300 for dinners. Tumbleweed Dance Hall and Concert Arena can accommodate 2,500 people standing or 700 seated, while The Range can accommodate 300 event attendees.
