Dolly Parton and partners donate millions to support flood relief efforts

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn.—Dolly Parton, along with officials from Dollywood Parks & Resorts, The Dollywood Foundation, Dolly Parton’s Stampede, Pirates Voyage, and Walmart, announced millions in donations to flood relief following Hurricane Helene. The announcement was made during a special event Friday, Oct. 4, at Walmart #678 in Newport, Tenn. The location has helped the local community by offering meals, showers, and laundry facilities to those affected by the unprecedented flooding from Hurricane Helene.

Dollywood wins six Golden Ticket Awards

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn.—Dollywood recently won six Golden Ticket Awards after receiving finalist placement in eight total categories. The park’s six Golden Ticket awards in 2024 marked the most of any theme park in the world.
