Visit Raleigh has named executive vice president Loren Gold as its next president and CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2027, following a unanimous vote by the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau (GRCVB) Board of Directors. Gold will succeed Dennis Edwards, who announced last month that he will retire at the end of 2026.
