Texarkana is two cities in one, sitting on the Arkansas-Texas state line and home to the only U.S. post office officially in two states. The historic post office building dates from 1932 and features a base of pink granite from Texas and walls of white limestone from Arkansas.
The Texarkana Convention Center offers 25,000 square feet of meeting space, including a ballroom capable of seating 1,000 guests for a banquet and a 5,600-square-foot outdoor event plaza. A 154-room Hilton Garden Inn is connected to the convention center.
Additional event space is available at the Four States Fair complex, with a 6,500-capacity Entertainment Center and additional spaces; and at the Texarkana Regional Arts & Humanities Council, inside the historic 1911 Federal Courthouse, with event space for 150 guests.
