POINT LOOKOUT, Mo.—Dobyns Dining restaurant at The Keeter Center at the Ozarks has been awarded the 2024 TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award, Best of the Best.
The title is given to the world’s top properties, based on the millions of reviews and opinions from the TripAdvisor community over a 12-month period. The Keeter Center is part of the one percent, out of 8 million listings, that were able to achieve this honor. The lodge, dining space, and event hall is also recognized in the top 10 nationwide as a winner of the best “Hidden Gems” in the United States.

In 1973, The Wall Street Journal dubbed the College of the Ozarks “Hard Work U.,” and the term has stuck. All students work 15 hours per week, and two 40-hour work weeks per year, to offset their tuition costs as part of the Work Education Program. The remaining balance is covered through scholarships via gifts and contributions from donors.
